Grundfos automates business processes with Microsoft Flow
ProActive assisted Grundfos by migrating a series of existing and complex workflows automating various business processes with Microsoft Flow.
Grundfos is a world leading provider of pumps and energy solutions for anything from homes to industry. Through 83 companies the company is directly accessible in 56 countries, and through its network of partners, distributors and sub dealers, is present in even more. The company employs around 19,280 people today. Poul Due Jensen founded the company in 1945 from his basement in Bjerringbro, Denmark. The first pump made was a water pump. Grundfos takes pride in moving water to where it should be. Using as little energy as possible when doing it.
In a global company like Grundfos, having a common accessible and easily deployed platform for automation is an important step. Grundfos already had a SharePoint Online based forms and automation tool and wanted to exchange this for a more future proof solution that was included in the O365 license.
Office 365 - Flow solution
ProActive assisted Grundfos by migrating a series of existing and complex workflows automating various business processes to Microsoft Flow.
The flows are part of a document lifecycle management solution within SharePoint, where several flows handle all aspects of the lifecycle, including reviews, approvals, releases, archiving, versioning, expiries and permissions.
Grundfos has rapidly moved to Flow from the existing solution and has saved license fees for the third-party solution – but more importantly has momentum for implementing new solutions on a future-proof platform directly integrated in the Office 365 platform.
